Terms of Service

Effective date: March 10, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using AnyaSelf (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of Service

You may use the Service for lawful personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for content you upload and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Accounts & Households

• Creating an account requires accurate information via Google OAuth sign-in.
• Households may include multiple members with different roles (Parent/Guardian, Adult Member, Child Member).
• Parent/Guardian members are responsible for managing household membership, approving purchase requests, and overseeing child member activity.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. AI Agent & Automated Actions

• The AnyaSelf AI agent ("Aura") provides styling recommendations and can execute actions on your behalf, including searching commerce offers and preparing shopping carts.
• You retain full control: The agent cannot complete a purchase without explicit user confirmation via an ephemeral checkout token.
• AI-generated recommendations are suggestions only and may not always be accurate.
• Cart preparation automates adding items to external retailer carts — the actual purchase transaction occurs on the retailer's site.

5. Browser Sessions

• AnyaSelf uses Hyperbeam cloud browser sessions to interact with external retailer websites on your behalf.
• Browser sessions may be recorded for audit and debugging purposes.
• Both you and the AI agent can interact with browser sessions. The "takeover" feature gives you direct manual control.
• You are responsible for any actions you take during manual browser takeover.

6. Age Restrictions

• Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Child Members (under 18) may be added to a household only by a Parent/Guardian member.
• Child Members cannot create purchase requests or confirm checkouts independently.

7. Intellectual Property

We and our licensors retain all rights to the Service and its content. You retain rights to your user content; by uploading you grant us a license to operate and display that content as needed to provide the Service.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Do not use the Service:

• For unlawful activities or to infringe others' rights
• To transmit harmful content
• To circumvent bot detection on retailer websites in violation of their terms
• To automate purchases beyond the scope of the Service's intended use

9. Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for damages arising from use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, any losses from incorrect AI recommendations or failed cart preparation jobs.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or for business reasons. You may delete your account and all associated data via the Settings page or by contacting support.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the company is established.
